In a conversation back in 2010 I remember speculation as to whether the then brand-new iPad was more about consumption than production. Roll on 12 years and my own concern is how technology contributes to productivity and people development. It’s become my passion, especially given the uncertainties in the world right now.
I set up Innovation People way back in 2008 with a mission to put affordable, efficient, and accessible tools into the hands of businesses of any size, anywhere connecting their people to performance and development.
I set up Innovation People in 2008, to address this, question: how might levels of innovation be increased and sustained in individuals and businesses?
Maybe it was because one morning recently I looked in the mirror and realised my beard was as white as Santa Clause’. Or maybe it was because the business I founded had reached the point of launching its own technology platform. Whatever the reason, I found myself engaging in a little retrospection. I delved back into the mists of time to consider my career.
How can SPICE Framework Tools help your Recruitment Business to gain advantage over others?
Innovation People exists to research and develop new approaches to people and organisational development with a vision to empower businesses to flourish by connecting people to ongoing performance improvement and development anywhere, through affordable, efficient, and accessible tools for businesses of any size, anywhere.
I’m sure you’ll have come across the phrase, 'If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got.' Often attributed to the likes of Henry Ford and Tony Robbins, its meaning is obvious. In these times of uncertainty and disruption, the need to review what we do and to respond to the need for change is obvious. It barely needs saying.
The ‘P’ of the SPICE Framework is about spotting patterns that hopefully lead to development and good decisions; what choices to make. This demands we look at ourselves, our circumstances, what’s gone before & straining to reach forward.
